Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bobby Knapp started the match with the kick off. Wallace Fields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Conley having to interfere. In the 7thth minute of the game Wallace Fields who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rock Rapids's Ismael Conley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ed Bradshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Conley having to interfere. Rock Rapids's Ismael Conley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wallace Fields in the 13th minute of play. Wallace Fields received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ismael Conley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Elijah Coulter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Bloom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Ed Bradshaw recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Conley. Ed Bradshaw showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ismael Conley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wallace Fields, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Ed Bradshaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ed Bradshaw came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Sells FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ed Bradshaw couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ismael Conley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Woody Finney in the 56th minute of play. If Bobby Knapp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Wallace Fields's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Conley was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Rock Rapids's Rory Murdock got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ismael Conley came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Sells FC's Ed Bradshaw. But to his dismay, Ed Bradshaw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ismael Conley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Bradshaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Ed Bradshaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Conley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Rock Rapids was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anson Burris to maneuver through the defense. Wallace Fields's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Conley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Wallace Fields made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Conley. Rock Rapids's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With an all-out effort, Rock Rapids's Bryan Bloom threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bobby Knapp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elijah Coulter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Carbajal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wallace Fields in the 96th minute of play forced Rock Rapids's goalkeeper Ismael Conley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sells FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
