Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eric Kilgore got the match started through his kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Eric Kilgore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Sand Lake FC's Taylor Parsons was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vern Sampson struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Milton Cobb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Sand Lake FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vern Sampson in the 8th minute of play forced Orange AFC's goalkeeper Milton Cobb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, West Sand Lake FC's Rory Bradshaw sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Milton Cobb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orange AFC's Milton Cobb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Bradshaw in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, one of Orange AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Milton Cobb went to the wrong direction when Ernesto Lindsay was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Vern Sampson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Milton Cobb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Orange AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Bradshaw came free, but Milton Cobb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephan Cline received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Taylor Parsons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Phillips charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Phillips the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robert Phillips hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 36th match minute, Orange AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Friend to maneuver through the defense. Rory Bradshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Milton Cobb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephan Cline sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Taylor Parsons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Kilgore, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Orange AFC's Nicholas Friend got a free kick in the 57th minute. Milton Cobb made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Vern Sampson sent off a good shot on target. Stephan Cline sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eric Kilgore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taylor Parsons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Cline in the 73rd minute of the match. Rory Bradshaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vern Sampson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milton Cobb. Milton Cobb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 91st minute, Stanford Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stephan Cline had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. West Sand Lake FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
