Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Len Waldron made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Ted Dennis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Malabar AFC's Donnie Hughes. Donnie Hughes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 8 minutes into the game, Salvador Hyatt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malabar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomball AFC the free kick. After 8 played minutes Malabar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Hyatt. Tyler Dickson came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Malabar AFC's Palmer Pena. But to his dismay, Palmer Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 23rd minute Len Waldron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnie Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Dennis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donnie Hughes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Thurman Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malabar AFC's Donnie Hughes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Malabar AFC from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes Tomball AFC got a freekick which was hit by Thurman Suarez. When Tomball AFC's Len Waldron in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malabar AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Len Waldron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Donnie Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Palmer Pena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ted Dennis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnie Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Len Waldron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Len Waldron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donnie Hughes was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Donnie Hughes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Len Waldron in the 77th minute of the match. Malabar AFC's Donnie Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Dennis in the 79th minute of play. Donnie Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Len Waldron, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the game, one of Malabar AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Donnie Hughes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Len Waldron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Dennis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donnie Hughes having to interfere. In the 97thth minute of the game Ted Dennis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malabar AFC's Donnie Hughes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Tomball AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
