The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Overton during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bo Overton hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match Richard Goins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachary Otto skillfully saved the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Grant Seay notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gooding FC's Zachary Otto. Zachary Otto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Ted Dennis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zachary Otto. Gooding FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Dennis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ted Dennis struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Zachary Otto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tomball AFC. Len Waldron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Gooding FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tomball AFC:s goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Len Waldron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomball AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Len Waldron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maxwell Greenberg thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Zachary Otto, a very annoying self made goal in the 42nd minute which led to 0-4. In the 49th minute Percy Waddell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyler Dickson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Len Waldron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Len Waldron in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zachary Otto saved Gooding FC from getting behind. If Ted Dennis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes in the game, Len Waldron fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zachary Otto having to interfere. Len Waldron had several of the Gooding FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Zachary Otto as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Len Waldron kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zachary Otto. That made the score 0-6 in the 78 minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Len Waldron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomball AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Len Waldron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ted Dennis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tomball AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Dennis couldn't finish the play. Ted Dennis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zachary Otto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ted Dennis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Otto having to interfere. Thurman Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Zachary Otto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
