Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cody Perkins made the kick off which started today's match. Blake Hanley in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donovan White, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blake Hanley got free with Donovan White in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Foster Foote put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Ferndale FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Weirton AFC:s goal. Flint Moreno let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 18th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyson Kenny in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Logan Ezell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Ferndale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Lozano came free, but Logan Ezell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ross Lozano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blake Hanley during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferndale FC's Blake Hanley got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Ross Lozano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferndale FC's Logan Ezell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Morrison in the 41st minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, Weirton AFC's Tyson Kenny made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Logan Ezell was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Blake Hanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ferndale FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Weirton AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tyson Kenny was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Flint Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donovan White saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blake Hanley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Donovan White tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blake Hanley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Trenton Singer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Weirton AFC and the Ferndale FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Weirton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Trenton Singer. 65 minutes into the match, Weirton AFC's Ricky Morrison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Logan Ezell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salvador Corley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Donovan White tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ferndale FC booed when Weirton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oren Swift didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donovan White took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blake Hanley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blake Hanley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Flint Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tyson Kenny in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Blake Hanley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donovan White. Weirton AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blake Hanley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Weirton AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ferndale FC had controlled the match.
