When Spencer Clemons came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Willow Grove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spencer Clemons couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Spencer Clemons reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ned Crabtree. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 13th minute, Timothy Vilter made a precise shot to the right of Ned Crabtree. Fauve FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Timothy Vilter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ned Crabtree having to interfere. Ned Crabtree made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Timothy Vilter sent off a good shot on target. If Homer Weeks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spencer Clemons succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. When Stewart Bond fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauve FC's protests and gave Stewart Bond a yellow card for diving instead. Stewart Bond hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Willow Grove's Del Reyna couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fauve FC. In the 47th minute Willow Grove were awarded a corner. Del Reyna went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Del Reyna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ned Crabtree quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 51 minutes, Tanner Beatty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fauve FC and the Willow Grove players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Tanner Beatty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ned Crabtree showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spencer Clemons, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Willow Grove booed when Fauve FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Cronshagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willow Grove's Spencer Clemons got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Timothy Vilter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ned Crabtree saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fauve FC's Ned Crabtree played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spencer Clemons in the 68th minute of play. Spencer Clemons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ned Crabtree having to interfere. James Cronshagen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Spencer Clemons came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Willow Grove fans jumped to their feet. Willow Grove's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
