Tracy Massey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Clark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tristan Clark made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Tracey Overton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Freeburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolverhampton the free kick. A collision led to Freeburg getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tracey Overton hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Freeburg's goal looked a bit too open when Quincy Vogel came free, but Tracy Massey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfred Uster in the 68th minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Kenneth LoDuca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jasper Dietz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kenneth LoDuca made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Freeburg's Wilfred Uster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth LoDuca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Quincy Vogel took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tracy Massey. Tracy Massey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Quincy Vogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tracy Massey having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasper Dietz got free with Kenneth LoDuca in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Quincy Vogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverhampton's supporters rose to their feet, but Quincy Vogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tracy Massey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freeburg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
