Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ian Connolly got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the North Babylon AFC defense, Ian Connolly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brendan Robinson. The North Babylon AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brendan Robinson should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Ian Connolly notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of North Babylon AFC's Brendan Robinson. Brendan Robinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 13 minutes, Ian Connolly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mora AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Connolly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Cobi Rubin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Babylon AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mora AFC the free kick. Mora AFC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after North Babylon AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eli Trujillo took the corner. When North Babylon AFC's Marshall Connolly in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mora AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Randolph Cornelius charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 36th match minute, Mora AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Forrest Bowser to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Jamar Denson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 39th play minute Jamar Denson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Glen Hewitt. 1-2. Glen Hewitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Connolly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tracy Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Randolph Cornelius was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.

The wind increased when Jamar Denson made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 60 minutes, Jamar Denson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Babylon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamar Denson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Garret Hays had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes, Levi Briggs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mora AFC and the North Babylon AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jamar Denson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glen Hewitt having to interfere. Tracy Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Brendan Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamar Denson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ian Connolly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Robinson having to interfere. Tracy Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tracy Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mora AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tracy Ruiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendan Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mora AFC booed when North Babylon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marshall Connolly didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th match minute, North Babylon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cobi Rubin to maneuver through the defense. The Mora AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mora AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
