Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Amite City's Gregorio Payne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dennis Parrish recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Gregorio Payne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Edmondson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Amite City getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Antony Loomis hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Guy Stroh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loren Strange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guy Stroh came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Eagan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guy Stroh couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amite City! In the 22nd match minute, Eagan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Stroh to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Dennis Parrish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amite City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Parrish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loren Strange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Stroh in the 28th minute of play. If Guy Stroh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guy Stroh made a kick off. If Dennis Parrish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Dennis Parrish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Edmondson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Eagan FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonah Valencia. Loren Strange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Stroh in the 61st minute of the match. In the 68th minute Dennis Parrish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Edmondson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amite City's Loren Strange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Stroh in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Amite City's Wilmer Watt got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Markus Laird recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Jack Uster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eagan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Uster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jack Uster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Eagan FC's Guy Stroh ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Loren Strange. Loren Strange yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3.
