Rex Byrne started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Cuero AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Norberto Morse hit a great ball. Angelo Newell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ollie Ogden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Cuero AFC's goalkeeper Johnny Jennings had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rich Blair. In the 14th minute, Harvey Moser had to leave the field with a concussion. Junior Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Cuero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loren Whittaker to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Jennings showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rich Blair, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Trenton Barrow hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Rich Blair's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Johnny Jennings skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Junior Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Johnny Jennings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Rich Blair made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Rochester Hills's goalkeeper Ollie Ogden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willie Cain. Rich Blair hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Willie Cain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ollie Ogden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reuben Hopper hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Reuben Hopper's late challenge caught a Cuero AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reuben Hopper helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Rochester Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reuben Hopper to maneuver through the defense. Rochester Hills's Ollie Ogden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Rochester Hills from getting a goal against them. When Rochester Hills's Rich Blair in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuero AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Junior Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play Rochester Hills's Reuben Hopper was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Rochester Hills getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Reuben Hopper hit a great ball. Willie Cain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ollie Ogden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Rochester Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trenton Barrow to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes Warren Waldron shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Ollie Ogden when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Willie Cain took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ollie Ogden to make any attempt to save it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
