Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cason Smart made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Fountain Inn FC's goalkeeper Wallace Peachey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Marks. Lamar Mercer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wallace Peachey having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Fountain Inn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquis Peoples to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Aldo Marks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roessleville's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Marks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wallace Peachey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Kaufman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cason Smart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Fountain Inn FC's Wallace Peachey got control of the ball when Aldo Marks tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Fountain Inn FC booed when Roessleville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vern Beltran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Kaufman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Lind in the 36th minute of play. Fountain Inn FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Roessleville's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marquis Peoples took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Roessleville's goalie and right to Tim Nicholas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Roessleville's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sergio Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Cason Smart notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Roessleville's Roland Kaufman. Roland Kaufman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cory Rasmussen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roland Kaufman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lance Vincent in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Roessleville got a freekick which was hit by Austin Renteria. Roland Kaufman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After 72 played minutes, Fountain Inn FC's Ignacio Shapiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roland Kaufman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fountain Inn FC reached it. Cory Rasmussen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Wallace Peachey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cory Rasmussen in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wallace Peachey saved Fountain Inn FC from getting behind. Cory Rasmussen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cory Rasmussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fountain Inn FC's Wallace Peachey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cory Rasmussen in the 90th minute of play. Aldo Marks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cory Rasmussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fountain Inn FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
