The crowd rose to their feet as Mohammed Conroy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Byron Murphy. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Byron Murphy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanford Weathers in the 7th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Mohammed Conroy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Murphy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincenzo Messer scored 3-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Byron Murphy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Grantsville FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Son Kirkpatrick hit a great ball. Byron Murphy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohammed Conroy in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Conroy in the 43rd minute of play forced Grantsville FC's goalkeeper Byron Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohammed Conroy during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mohammed Conroy hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Ellis to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Mohammed Conroy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Byron Murphy was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Son Kirkpatrick's late challenge caught a Franco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Son Kirkpatrick helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Franco FC booed when Grantsville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Son Kirkpatrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohammed Conroy in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Byron Murphy saved Grantsville FC from getting behind. The Franco FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Franco FC's Mohammed Conroy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 61st match minute, Grantsville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Son Kirkpatrick to maneuver through the defense. Mohammed Conroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Byron Murphy having to interfere. If Vincenzo Messer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Franco FC's Mohammed Conroy in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grantsville FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th minute, Santiago Rowley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Byron Murphy was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Grantsville FC's zone, Santiago Rowley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Byron Murphy came out of the goal and Santiago Rowley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mohammed Conroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Ellis charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Ellis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Grantsville FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Ellis. 79 minutes into the match, Mohammed Conroy notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Grantsville FC's Byron Murphy. Byron Murphy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohammed Conroy in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Byron Murphy saved Grantsville FC from getting behind. Franco FC were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Grantsville FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alan Armstrong took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alan Armstrong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Byron Murphy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohammed Conroy in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Byron Murphy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincenzo Messer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohammed Conroy in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Byron Murphy saved Grantsville FC from getting behind. Byron Murphy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammed Conroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Franco FC's Mohammed Conroy got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
