Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thaddeus Zimmerman started the match with the kick off. Len Avalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Uster's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kermit Lim in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waylon Valenzuela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kermit Dennis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kermit Lim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waylon Valenzuela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Basil Knoxs short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Len Avalos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 14 played minutes ESMAH got a freekick which was hit by Brady Powers. If Eliseo Uster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basil Knox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Len Avalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. If Thaddeus Zimmerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thaddeus Zimmerman in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waylon Valenzuela saved Gordon AFC from getting behind. Basil Knox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Len Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gordon AFC's Carlo Bustamante got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gordon AFC's Waylon Valenzuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thaddeus Zimmerman in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Aidan Fujieda made a precise shot to the right of Waylon Valenzuela. Gordon AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thaddeus Zimmerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Waylon Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kermit Lim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Uster to strike the kick off in the second half. Aidan Fujieda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Eliseo Uster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gordon AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Uster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Len Avalos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eliseo Uster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gordon AFC's zone, Thaddeus Zimmerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waylon Valenzuela came out of the goal and Thaddeus Zimmerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waylon Valenzuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thaddeus Zimmerman in the 65th minute of the match. Kermit Lim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Waylon Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kermit Lim got free with Waylon Valenzuela in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 played minutes Thaddeus Zimmerman rounded Gordon AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. The audience was convinced that Thaddeus Zimmerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waylon Valenzuela was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Uster in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Len Avalos saved ESMAH from getting behind. Thaddeus Zimmerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waylon Valenzuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thaddeus Zimmerman in the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gordon AFC's zone, Thaddeus Zimmerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waylon Valenzuela came out of the goal and Thaddeus Zimmerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gordon AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ESMAH were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
