Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tod Candido made the kick off and thus started the match. Everett Ragsdale struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Norbert Burkhart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Swan AFC. 6 minutes in the game, Tod Candido fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Norbert Burkhart having to interfere. Craig Garner kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes, Lake Ronkonkoma's Ian Glenn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Darnell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lake Ronkonkoma reached it. Craig Garner charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Craig Garner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Jayson Brannon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DeAngelo Spicer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Ross Akins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jayson Brannon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Terrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ricardo Darnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Jayson Brannon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Ronkonkoma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jayson Brannon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ross Akins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Everett Ragsdale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norbert Burkhart was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 46th minute, Ross Akins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jayson Brannon to strike the kick off in the second half. Everett Ragsdale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lake Ronkonkoma getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jayson Brannon hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, White Swan AFC's Tod Candido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Burkhart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Myles Hamby's late challenge caught a Lake Ronkonkoma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Myles Hamby helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute Jayson Brannon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Darnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Lake Ronkonkoma's Ross Akins made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Darnell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jermaine Woodall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Norbert Burkhart. Lake Ronkonkoma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jayson Brannon in the 93rd minute of play forced White Swan AFC's goalkeeper Ricardo Darnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the White Swan AFC defense, Ross Akins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Darnell. The White Swan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Darnell should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lake Ronkonkoma had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
