Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reggie Harrington took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wilford Benjamin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Kane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Riker's late challenge caught a Ringwood AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Will Riker helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ringwood AFC booed when Wading River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Riker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garry George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Wading River's zone, Rico Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garry George came out of the goal and Rico Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Rico Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garry George was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Ringwood AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie Harrington came free, but Wilford Benjamin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Reggie Harrington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Wading River's Oliver Kane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilford Benjamin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Reggie Harrington came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Wading River fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reggie Harrington couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Kane in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilford Benjamin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver Kane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford Benjamin having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rico Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. If Joshua Prescott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilford Benjamin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Prescott in the 55th minute of play. Ringwood AFC were furious when Cedric Jones was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Wilford Benjamin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Kane in the 68th minute. Foster Seals took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilford Benjamin. Ringwood AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Wading River's Wilford Benjamin threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reggie Harrington, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilford Benjamin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Harrington, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Aaron Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garry George read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Aaron Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilford Benjamin made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Oliver Kane sent off a good shot on target. The Wading River players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
