Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stanford Ashley made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Howard's Cliff Fox got control of the ball when Aaron Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stanford Ashley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilford Benjamin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Pete Roach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howard's supporters rose to their feet, but Pete Roach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilford Benjamin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Roach in the 16th minute of play forced Ringwood AFC's goalkeeper Wilford Benjamin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Castros short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Cliff Fox to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Howard booed when Ringwood AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernie Langford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ringwood AFC's Wilford Benjamin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanford Ashley in the 24th minute of play. Wilford Benjamin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanford Ashley in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Aaron Castro lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cliff Fox. Ringwood AFC's Rico Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pete Roach's late challenge caught a Ringwood AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pete Roach helped the player get up and apologised. Pete Roach hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Rico Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rico Andrade made a kick off. Cliff Fox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rico Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Stanford Ashley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilford Benjamin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Bernie Langford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ringwood AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howard the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Ringwood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernie Langford to maneuver through the defense. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cliff Fox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Castro in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Howard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanford Ashley to maneuver through the defense. Ringwood AFC's Aaron Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ringwood AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
