The Croydon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jayson Shields, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Croydon FC booed when L.A Pimps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merrill Keen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Hans Parnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Dorsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Byron Hodges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sonny Dorsey was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Tom Hartley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Croydon FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reed Crabtree was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Croydon FC's Hans Parnell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sonny Dorsey. That made the score 0-3 after 53 minutes of play. Spencer Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A hard shot 58 in the game by Byron Hodges from a close distance when the talented Sonny Dorsey managed to make a qualified save. L.A Pimps's players were relieved. Hans Parnell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sonny Dorsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Parnell in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Byron Hodges got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sonny Dorsey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Byron Hodges couldn't finish the play. A collision led to L.A Pimps getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Spencer Valentin hit a great ball. Croydon FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
