Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reed Crabtree took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Tom Hartley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reed Crabtree in the 11th minute of play forced Memphis Soccer Academy's goalkeeper Rory Ross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darrel Cody recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, L.A Pimps's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Strong came free, but Sonny Dorsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Memphis Soccer Academy's Rory Ross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reed Crabtree in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Bobby Strong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Dorsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Hartley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reed Crabtree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Dorsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrel Cody in the 41st minute of play. If Bobby Strong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobby Strong to strike the kick off in the second half. Darrel Cody struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. When Darrel Cody came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Memphis Soccer Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darrel Cody couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Kirby Quinones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. L.A Pimps's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rex Webb in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Memphis Soccer Academy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
