Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Collin Phillips took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Ernest Sands made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Brantley. Clearbrook's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Kristopher Piper charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristopher Piper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Kristopher Piper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raymond Hoyt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Collin Phillips in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Clearbrook's goalkeeper Joseph Brantley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Sands. 18 minutes into the match, Clearbrook's goal looked a bit too open when Ervin Church came free, but Joseph Brantley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teddy Quinn kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Werner Staley fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clearbrook's protests and gave Werner Staley a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Clearbrook got a freekick which was hit by Werner Staley. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Sands got free with Joseph Brantley in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ernest Sands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teddy Quinn kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ervin Church kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Jim Waller fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clearbrook's protests and gave Jim Waller a yellow card for diving instead. 47 minutes into the game, one of Clearbrook:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ervin Church to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mount Angel's zone, Werner Staley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Hoyt came out of the goal and Werner Staley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raymond Hoyt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Collin Phillips, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gordon Corbin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Raymond Hoyt made a huge save. Ervin Church sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes Clearbrook got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Quinn. Ervin Church fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Brantley having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mount Angel's Manuel Cavazos got a free kick in the 85th minute. Clearbrook's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 87th minute of the game, when Errol Carey after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Mount Angel's goal. Errol Carey was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Joseph Brantley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervin Church in the 90th minute of play. Ervin Church fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Brantley having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ernest Sands made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Brantley. Clearbrook's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Clearbrook's Gordon Corbin got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincent Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Mount Angel were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Clearbrook for a fine match.
