Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Merlin Looney made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Rich Medrano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South San Gabriel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rich Medrano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Madeira defense, Rich Medrano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Terrell Harrell. The Madeira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terrell Harrell should have stopped the shot. Loren Patrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxwell Crusher, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 31 played minutes Madeira got a freekick which was hit by Rolland Hess. Terrell Harrell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rich Story. In the 34th minute, Rich Medrano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rich Medrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Terrell Harrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes South San Gabriel got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Villa. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After recieving a nice pass, Madeira's Joaquin Schumacher tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rich Medrano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, South San Gabriel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Merlin Looney fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Merlin Looney might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loren Patrick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merlin Looney ran back to his position shaking his head. Stanford Leslie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terrell Harrell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanford Leslie in the 61st minute of play forced Madeira's goalkeeper Terrell Harrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rich Medrano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terrell Harrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanford Leslie in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, South San Gabriel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rich Story to maneuver through the defense. Loren Patrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Looney, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Loren Patrick successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Madeira fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Madeira's Maxwell Crusher looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 87 minutes into the match, South San Gabriel's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Looney came free, but Loren Patrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merlin Looney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Loren Patrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxwell Crusher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Loren Patrick made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Madeira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
