Ezra Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Hatch in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Bowling Green FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Keenan Stapleton hit a great ball. Anson Fish hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Danny Herndon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bowling Green FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Herndon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenny Timmons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Patrick Hatch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezra Diaz was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Marcos Stearns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Burrows in the 44th minute of play forced Blair's goalkeeper Lenny Timmons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezra Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Stearns in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pat Burrows stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Patrick Hatch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezra Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lenny Timmons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Herndon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Patrick Hatch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ezra Diaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Patrick Hatch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blair fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience was convinced that Danny Herndon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenny Timmons was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Blair's Kraig Conn got a free kick in the 89th minute. Danny Herndon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Timmons having to interfere. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blair's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Colin Elkins was slow to take the kick. During this time Bowling Green FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Bowling Green FC's Colin Elkins to fire away a dangerous shot which Lenny Timmons despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Bowling Green FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blair's performance. The match ended with a win for Blair.
