Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Grady Locke took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alfredo Crain's late challenge caught a Las Vegas Storm FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Crain helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kearny's Alfredo Crain got a free kick in the 4th minute. A hard shot by Dane Morgan from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Brandon Yeager's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Las Vegas Storm FC.'s zone, Eusebio Crain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Cervantes came out of the goal and Eusebio Crain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brandon Yeager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grady Locke in the 8th minute of the match. Grady Locke struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Brandon Yeager didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Vegas Storm FC.. Las Vegas Storm FC.'s Edgardo Ogden was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Edgardo Ogden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Crain hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Brandon Yeager made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Ogden in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Eusebio Crain made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Cervantes. Las Vegas Storm FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Laurence Merchant kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Carlos Cervantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Crain, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kearny's Brandon Yeager proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kearny from getting a goal against them. Eusebio Crain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Kearny got a freekick which was hit by Laurence Merchant. Dane Morgan, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Crain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Edgardo Ogden came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Las Vegas Storm FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Ogden couldn't finish the play. Laurence Merchant kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Kearny's Brandon Yeager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Ogden in the 60th minute of play. If Edgardo Ogden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Grady Locke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Ogden in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brandon Yeager prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Braswell's late challenge caught a Las Vegas Storm FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dane Morgan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Laurence Merchant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Las Vegas Storm FC.'s Dane Morgan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Grady Locke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Yeager having to interfere. When Eusebio Crain came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Kearny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Crain couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Eusebio Crain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Cervantes made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Kirk Dennis sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kearny had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
