Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Collin Jorgensen started the match with the kick off. Brooklyn Stars's Ervin Everett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Collin Jorgensen in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Stanton Rivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josef Seay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Javier Loomis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ervin Everett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Collin Jorgensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Bobby> Case recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Dominic Hicks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brooklyn Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominic Hicks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Socastee FC defense, Stanton Rivera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Loomis. The Socastee FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Loomis should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Socastee FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby> Case came free, but Javier Loomis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ervin Everett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Connor Zavala in the 33rd minute. Abe Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Socastee FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Hicks came free, but Javier Loomis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Dominic Hicks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Socastee FC's Abe Holt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ervin Everett. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Dominic Hicks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brooklyn Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Hicks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Loomis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Seay to make the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Dominic Hicks from a close distance when the talented Javier Loomis managed to make a qualified save. Socastee FC's players were relieved. Javier Loomis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Hicks went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Abe Holt struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ervin Everett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socastee FC. In the 61st minute Connor Zavala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ervin Everett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Dominic Hicks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Loomis. The goal made the score 1-3. If Josef Seay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Brooklyn Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerrod Fitzgerald to maneuver through the defense. C.J. Thomson's late challenge caught a Brooklyn Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. C.J. Thomson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Socastee FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. C.J. Thomson hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Brooklyn Stars were awarded a corner. Wilfred McCollum went to the cornerflag to take it. Socastee FC's Javier Loomis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominic Hicks in the 83rd minute of play. Stanton Rivera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Loomis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Bobby> Case in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Javier Loomis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Javier Loomis was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Dominic Hicks capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dominic Hicks really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 91st match minute, Brooklyn Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randell Gil to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Socastee FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Abe Holt hit a great ball. When Bobby> Case came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Brooklyn Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bobby> Case couldn't finish the play. Brooklyn Stars's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
