Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Steven Lowery got the match started through his kick off. Graig Anthony made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Uster in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes Finegayan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rob Willoughby who took care of the corner kick. Monroe Jennings fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alec Parker having to interfere. Alec Parker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Waters in the 23rd minute of the match. Elmwood's Dana Pool got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Graig Anthony showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Lowery, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alec Parker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shelby Gallagher in the 28th minute of the match. Shelby Gallagher's late challenge caught a Elmwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shelby Gallagher helped the player get up and apologised. If Shelby Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Steven Lowery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elmwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Lowery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Graig Anthony made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Lowery in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Monroe Jennings to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Steven Lowery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graig Anthony saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Graig Anthony showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dana Pool in the 60th minute of the match. Moses Velez's late challenge caught a Elmwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moses Velez helped the player get up and apologised. 67 minutes into the game, Edward Waters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alec Parker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Graig Anthony showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Uster, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. During the 80th minute of the match Shelby Gallagher completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Shelby Gallagher a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Finegayan FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Shelby Gallagher hit a great ball. Bronson Eddy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Boyce Gillis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elmwood's Alec Parker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Elmwood from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Steven Lowery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elmwood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The Elmwood players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
