Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Floral FC's Carlo Givens got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Robert Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Gustavo Herndon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floral FC and the Mount Angel AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gustavo Herndon hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Yong Roth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Carlos Pham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Clay Sullivan's late challenge caught a Floral FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clay Sullivan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Yong Roth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mount Angel AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Boyd Vasquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emery Reeves in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Floral FC's goalkeeper Carlos Pham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yong Roth. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th minute, Titus Jewell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlo Givens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boyd Vasquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emery Reeves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. In the 67th minute, Grant Henley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Givens struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Boyd Vasquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floral FC. Floral FC's Carlos Pham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yong Roth in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emery Reeves in the 74th minute of play forced Mount Angel AFC's goalkeeper Boyd Vasquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yong Roth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Pham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Yong Roth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Floral FC's zone, Robert Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Pham came out of the goal and Robert Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boyd Vasquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emery Reeves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyd Vasquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emery Reeves in the 88th minute of the match. Carlo Givens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
