Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kristopher Adkins got the match started through his kick off. Ron Rowe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. 9 minutes into the match, Alameda FC's Dillon Downs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chad Lefler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Devin Sheridan managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Emporia's Ron Rowe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 12th minute, Ron Rowe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Devin Sheridan, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Emporia's Kristopher Adkins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Devin Sheridan. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Al Booth in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chad Lefler saved Emporia from getting behind. If Garrett Novak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Dillon Downs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chad Lefler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dillon Downs, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Loren Wong charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loren Wong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Loren Wong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alameda FC were furious when Lorenzo Wiley was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Damon Boudreaux placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Al Booth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ron Rowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Alameda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Rowe came free, but Devin Sheridan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kristopher Adkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Devin Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ron Rowe in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Kristopher Adkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emporia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Adkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 played minutes Alameda FC got a freekick which was hit by Loren Wong. After a defensive mix-up in Alameda FC's zone, Ron Rowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Devin Sheridan came out of the goal and Ron Rowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Alameda FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Philip Crandall hit a great ball. Kristopher Adkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ron Rowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devin Sheridan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristopher Adkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ron Rowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Everett Eason was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alameda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emporia the free kick. The supporters of Emporia booed when Alameda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everett Eason didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ron Rowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Devin Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Emporia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alameda FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
