Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charlie McClelland kicked off to start the match. If Jacob Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie McClelland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Freeman having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Charlie McClelland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mark Freeman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anson Moyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugh Reece having to interfere. If Gilbert Compton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Hilliard's late challenge caught a Guntersville AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Hilliard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Canon City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Hilliard to maneuver through the defense. Charlie McClelland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban Hilliard kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Charlie McClelland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Freeman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Compton got free with Hugh Reece in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anson Moyer made a kick off. When Gilbert Compton came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Canon City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Compton couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Gilbert Compton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58 minutes, Woodrow Hutchison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guntersville AFC and the Canon City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Woodrow Hutchison kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Gilbert Compton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugh Reece having to interfere. Esteban Hilliard got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Canon City getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Esteban Hilliard hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Jacob Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guntersville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Escobar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Freeman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Escobar in the 85th minute. Anson Moyer hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charlie McClelland in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Freeman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Canon City's Anson Moyer got a free kick in the 91st minute. Charlie McClelland struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mark Freeman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guntersville AFC. Jacob Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mark Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
