After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Lane Vasquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newnan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lane Vasquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rick Bliss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Truman Mosher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Tanner having to interfere. After some careless play in the Newnan AFC defense, Robert Randle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Austin Tanner. The Newnan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Austin Tanner should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes Deschutes River Woods got a freekick which was hit by Stewart Graves. In the 18th minute Truman Mosher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austin Tanner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Deschutes River Woods booed when Newnan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Field didn't get a good kick on the ball. Austin Tanner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stewart Graves in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Harvey Coulter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Newnan AFC's Casper Terry broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 32 minutes, Guy Bachman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deschutes River Woods and the Newnan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Austin Tanner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Randle, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Newnan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Truman Mosher came free, but Austin Tanner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Deschutes River Woods's goal looked a bit too open when Titus Ybarra came free, but Rick Bliss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Randle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Austin Tanner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Robert Randle made the kick off in the second half. Truman Mosher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Tanner having to interfere. Newnan AFC's Austin Tanner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Newnan AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 62 minutes, Titus Ybarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newnan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Titus Ybarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Randle had several of the Newnan AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Austin Tanner as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rick Bliss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lane Vasquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Robert Randle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Truman Mosher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Austin Tanner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 89 minutes, Robert Randle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deschutes River Woods's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Randle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lane Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Randle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Austin Tanner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deschutes River Woods had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
