Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) East Ithaca's Del Johnston started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, East Ithaca's Bryan Urmanski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ralph Friend. Ralph Friend yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Del Johnston in the 10th minute of play forced Archbold AFC's goalkeeper Ralph Friend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Art Cox in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winfred Richards prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Winfred Richards came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Archbold AFC's Art Cox. But to his dismay, Art Cox quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 31st minute, East Ithaca's Bryan Urmanski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 37 played minutes, Archbold AFC's Jerrod Trevino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Winfred Richards came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Archbold AFC reached it. Art Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Urmanski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Friend having to interfere. After 45 played minutes East Ithaca got a freekick which was hit by Leon Pierson. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Art Cox made the kick off in the second half. Winfred Richards showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Art Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Romeo Cedillo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Archbold AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Del Johnston came free, but Ralph Friend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Archbold AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Gregory to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Charles Frey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes in the game, Art Cox fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Winfred Richards having to interfere. Jarrod Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winfred Richards having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind East Ithaca's goalkeeper Winfred Richards, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When East Ithaca's Del Johnston in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Archbold AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th match minute, Archbold AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrod Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Kirby Lucero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ralph Friend. Archbold AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Archbold AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for East Ithaca.
