Columbus Grove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Woodall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Caballito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique McNeil came free, but Glen Wiseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Columbus Grove getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Trent Regan hit a great ball. Quincy Cora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glen Wiseman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Cormier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Merrill Chambers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Caballito FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Lamar Kirkpatrick hit a great ball. Jeramy Sandoval was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garth Cormier in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glen Wiseman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Caballito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Cormier came free, but Glen Wiseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glen Wiseman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Cormier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Quincy Cora made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Glen Wiseman managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Columbus Grove's Merrill Chambers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 63 minutes, Monty Velez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caballito FC and the Columbus Grove players grew even worse after the yellow card. Monty Velez kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Merrill Chambers could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Glen Wiseman however easily saved by the left post. With 67 minutes on the clock, Lamar Kirkpatrick commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caballito FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Jeramy Sandoval placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Merrill Chambers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glen Wiseman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique McNeil in the 75th minute of play forced Caballito FC's goalkeeper Glen Wiseman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caballito FC's Glen Wiseman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Caballito FC from getting a goal against them. Merrill Chambers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Glen Wiseman made a huge save. Glen Wiseman came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Columbus Grove's Garth Cormier. But to his dismay, Garth Cormier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Caballito FC's Glen Wiseman got control of the ball when Jamal Hewitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Monty Velez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Devon Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garth Cormier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glen Wiseman made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Francesco Woodall sent off a good shot on target. Columbus Grove played a much better game than Caballito FC and deserved their victory. The Caballito FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
