Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mitch Greer started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Brandon Mills hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Logan Vega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jon Woodruff was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Logan Vega hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jon Woodruff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Battle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maili's Brandon Mills got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremy Roark charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremy Roark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Weldon Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. HOMY's Jon Woodruff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Battle in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Ortega in the 42nd minute of play forced HOMY's goalkeeper Jon Woodruff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Alejandro Bradley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Willie Stratton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 46 minutes, Logan Vega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maili and the HOMY players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Maili got a freekick which was hit by Logan Vega. Willie Stratton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Greer in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Maili were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Battle to strike the kick off in the second half. Jon Woodruff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Battle, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thad Huntley charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thad Huntley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 67 minutes into the match, HOMY's goalkeeper Jon Woodruff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brandon Mills. Fernando Shelton hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jon Woodruff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Battle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Logan Vega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mitch Greer managed to get in a good position for a shot. HOMY's supporters rose to their feet, but Mitch Greer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willie Stratton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Alejandro Bradley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Barger in the 89th minute of play forced Maili's goalkeeper Willie Stratton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maili had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
