Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Rueben Stout left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jesse Herrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ben Cao Xiao's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in American Fork's zone, Dallas Vincent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Sharp came out of the goal and Dallas Vincent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Horton charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Horton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Julian Horton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duncan Jacques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Cao Xiao in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesse Herrera saved Stow from getting behind. If Dallas Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rueben Stout hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jesse Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Del Dolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ben Cao Xiao struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jesse Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for American Fork. Peter Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dallas Vincent in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of American Fork booed when Stow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hal Gann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, American Fork's Stacey Trevino got a free kick in the 38th minute. Dallas Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute of the match, Duncan Jacques got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Sharp was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dallas Vincent was the one to do the kick off. Peter Sharp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dallas Vincent's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Dallas Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Sharp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience cheered when Andreas Douglas's long shot passed Peter Sharp's right side. It was 2-0, 56 minutes into the match. Ben Cao Xiao who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Jesse Herrera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peter Sharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Jacques in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Del Dolan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesse Herrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Del Dolan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. American Fork's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carl Parra in the 76th minute. Carl Parra made a great header on American Fork's corner, it was just that Stow's Jesse Herrera managed to reach the ball for a save. Del Dolan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ben Cao Xiao in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jesse Herrera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 81 played minutes Del Dolan rounded Stow's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. When Duncan Jacques came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Stow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Jacques couldn't finish the play. Dallas Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dallas Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Peter Sharp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Duncan Jacques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stow had played much better football throughout.
