Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Barling FC's Nicholas Vargas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Barling FC's zone, Harvey Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Cedillo came out of the goal and Harvey Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedict Miranda struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Roland Cedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mount Pleasant. Tomas Raines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Vargas in the 13th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Albert Gilliam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barling FC and the Mount Pleasant players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albert Gilliam hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Mount Pleasant's Benedict Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Barling FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Perez came free, but Roland Cedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kris Hopper took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roland Cedillo. Barling FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roland Cedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedict Miranda in the 32nd minute of the match. When Nicholas Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barling FC's protests and gave Nicholas Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barling FC's Nicholas Vargas got a free kick in the 34th minute. Roland Cedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Perez in the 39th minute of play forced Barling FC's goalkeeper Roland Cedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicholas Vargas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomas Raines came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicholas Vargas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedict Miranda was the one to do the kick off. Roland Cedillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harvey Perez in the 52nd minute. Harvey Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harvey Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Roland Cedillo made a huge save. Nicholas Vargas struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Tomas Raines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barling FC. In the 83rd minute, Mount Pleasant's Benedict Miranda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 86 minutes of play, Barling FC's Percy Tolbert made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Raines was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barling FC's Roland Cedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedict Miranda in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Benedict Miranda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roland Cedillo. Benedict Miranda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. A collision led to Mount Pleasant getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Arthur Loomis hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicholas Vargas in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Raines saved Mount Pleasant from getting behind.
