The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Whitney Solis was the one to do the kick off. Leon Rutledge came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Farr slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Kevin Farr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Rutledge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marc Hare fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hera Browncoats FC's protests and gave Marc Hare a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hera Browncoats FC's Marc Hare got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Rutledge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Le Roy AFC's zone, Dominic Shipp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Rutledge came out of the goal and Dominic Shipp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hera Browncoats FC played a much better game than Le Roy AFC and deserved their victory. The Le Roy AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
