Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Chad Mejia got the match started through his kick off. Gabriel Boyer charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Boyer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chad Mejia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Stapleton having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grants's zone, Charles Meyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greg Farris came out of the goal and Charles Meyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Grants's Gerry Bledsoe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shawn Stapleton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Milan Renteria came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Lockland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan Renteria couldn't finish the play. The corner led to Lockland's Douglas Huang getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Charles Meyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Greg Farris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Meyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Lockland's goalkeeper Shawn Stapleton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerry Bledsoe. 40 minutes into the match, Lockland's goal looked a bit too open when Chad Mejia came free, but Shawn Stapleton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grants! Milan Renteria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Meyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Grants's Rocco Serrano in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lockland's goalie prevented a goal. Lockland's Milan Renteria got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shawn Stapleton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chad Mejia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Milan Renteria came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Lockland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan Renteria couldn't finish the play. If Gerry Bledsoe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lockland's zone, Gerry Bledsoe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn Stapleton came out of the goal and Gerry Bledsoe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Marcellus Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grants's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcellus Gallagher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Grants's Greg Farris got control of the ball when Theodore Townsend tried to sneak it across the goal line. Greg Farris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Meyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st match minute, Grants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Moses to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Grants's Zachery Griggs got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachery Griggs during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zachery Griggs hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Grants's Greg Farris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Meyer in the 91st minute of play. Shawn Stapleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Bledsoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Theodore Townsend hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theo Moses took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shawn Stapleton. Lockland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Lockland players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Grants from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
