The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregg Casey was the one to do the kick off. Darnell Chapman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Weaver in the 53rd minute of play. If Todd Weaver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The referee ignored Garnett AFC's protests and gave Reed Jennings a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of demarkus booed when Garnett AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reed Jennings didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Todd Weaver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregg Casey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darnell Chapman having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Garnett AFC got a freekick which was hit by Laurence McGill. demarkus's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
