Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gibsonville AFC's Bradly Riggs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Al English sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Gibsonville AFC booed when South Glens Falls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Sizemore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gibsonville AFC's Bradly Riggs got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Landon Keyes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Cesar Hogan sent off a good shot on target. When Bradly Riggs came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gibsonville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradly Riggs couldn't finish the play. Bradly Riggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Landon Keyes having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, South Glens Falls's goal looked a bit too open when Bradly Riggs came free, but Landon Keyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al English received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jason Bain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Al English sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Al English stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Don Holloways short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Jason Bain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60th minute of the match, Billy Barnes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jason Bain saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 60 played minutes Gibsonville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Hamlin. Landon Keyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradly Riggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Cesar Hogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradly Riggs in the 74th minute of play forced South Glens Falls's goalkeeper Landon Keyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gibsonville AFC's Jason Bain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al English in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gibsonville AFC's Eddy Landreth got a free kick in the 85th minute. When South Glens Falls's Al English in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gibsonville AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Jason Bain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al English in the 90th minute of play. If Al English had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Stanford Battle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Bain didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when South Glens Falls's Al English shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The South Glens Falls supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing South Glens Falls would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
