Charlton Hollandsworth scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norman Vinson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Teodoro Countess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Charlton Hollandsworth made a precise shot to the right of Norman Vinson. Pevely United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Raul Velez came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Gamewell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Velez couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Jeremiah Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pevely United's goalkeeper Norman Vinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raul Velez might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norman Vinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Velez ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Gamewell booed when Pevely United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colby Crane didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pevely United's goalkeeper Norman Vinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlton Hollandsworth in the 36th minute of play forced Pevely United's goalkeeper Norman Vinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norman Vinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Velez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Gamewell's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Stjohn came free, but Oscar Cullen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norman Vinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Velez in the 46th minute of the match. Norman Vinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlton Hollandsworth in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Stjohn made a kick off. The supporters of Gamewell booed when Pevely United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milan Swartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlton Hollandsworth in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norman Vinson saved Pevely United from getting behind. Pevely United's Norman Vinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Pevely United from getting a goal against them. Norman Vinson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charlton Hollandsworth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. When Charlton Hollandsworth, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 72 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. Milan Swartz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Charlton Hollandsworth rounded Pevely United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. In the 90th play minute Raul Velez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Norman Vinson. 0-7. Charlton Hollandsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Vinson having to interfere. When the match was over Gamewell could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pevely United throughout the match.
