Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Scott Rudd took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Tracey Goodson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Randell Pruett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Cheat Lake AFC's Heriberto Miller got a free kick in the 6th minute. Scott Rudd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warner Summers having to interfere. Randell Pruett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tracey Goodson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheat Lake AFC's Warner Summers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Cheat Lake AFC from getting a goal against them. When Teodoro Jameson came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Cheat Lake AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Jameson couldn't finish the play. If Alistair Thacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Scott Rudd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tracey Goodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Grant Jaramillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scott Rudd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warner Summers having to interfere.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Cheat Lake AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Aldo Brown placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Tracey Goodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Heriberto Miller hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Alistair Thacker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Warner Summers was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Alistair Thacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moss Point's Alistair Thacker got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tracey Goodson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Randell Pruett made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Scott Rudd made a precise shot to the right of Warner Summers. Cheat Lake AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. If Teodoro Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cheat Lake AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Moss Point.
