Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrew Davies got the match started through his kick off. Dario Triplett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Hugh Burrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Houston Horner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Stan Ng made a huge save. After having played for 9 minutes, Houston Horner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vandenberg Village's supporters crossed their fingers, but Houston Horner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot by Jonas Page from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Stan Ng's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 22nd match minute, Vandenberg Village was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Davies to maneuver through the defense. Rocky Dunn's late challenge caught a Vandenberg Village's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rocky Dunn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Castroville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Dunn to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Castroville FC's Stan Ng got control of the ball when Houston Horner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Houston Horner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Stan Ng made a huge save. Dario Triplett scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugh Burrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doug Lyons kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Triplett to make the kick off. Andrew Davies blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stan Ng having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Houston Horner in the 59th minute of play forced Castroville FC's goalkeeper Stan Ng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stan Ng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houston Horner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes, Andrew Davies made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Castroville FC's Stan Ng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Andrew Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Dario Triplett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 minutes, Doug Lyons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castroville FC and the Vandenberg Village players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Castroville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doug Lyons to maneuver through the defense. If Houston Horner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vandenberg Village's Damon Underwood got a free kick in the 87th minute. Andrew Davies succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Vandenberg Village's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
