Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Al Boston started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute A.J. Mohr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Gunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Gunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Agoos, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game William Agoos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rock Rapids AFC's Tony Gunter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 played minutes Rock Rapids AFC got a freekick which was hit by Deshawn Reid. 1-1 became the score in the 17th minute when A.J. Mohr elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Pickerington's goal looked a bit too open when Al Boston came free, but Young Fulton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pickerington's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Al Boston scored to the left of an out of position Young Fulton, making the score, 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Rock Rapids AFC's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. Mohr came free, but Tony Gunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Gunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. Mohr, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Al Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Young Fulton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pickerington fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! If Al Boston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when A.J. Mohr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deshawn Reid scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Young Fulton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If William Agoos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute A.J. Mohr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Gunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolland Fleming during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling A.J. Mohr in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Gunter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Rock Rapids AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after A.J. Mohr fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pickerington fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Rock Rapids AFC a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joesph Shipp, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pickerington's Young Fulton. 4-1. Pickerington's Young Fulton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Boston in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Pickerington's goal looked a bit too open when Deshawn Reid came free, but Young Fulton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Young Fulton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sol Clements, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Young Fulton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Al Boston, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, William Agoos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pickerington's supporters rose to their feet, but William Agoos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Gunter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 99 minutes into the game, A.J. Mohr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Tony Gunter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rock Rapids AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
