Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when A.J. Mohr made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Lawrence Merrill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 3rd minute, Sylvester Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lawrence Merrill in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Young Fulton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.J. Mohr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moses Elias having to interfere. Moses Elias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. Mohr, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 19th minute, William Agoos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moses Elias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vine Grove's Moses Elias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. Mohr in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Dave Forbes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vine Grove's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Forbes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Young Fulton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Young Fulton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Merrill in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Lawrence Merrill made the kick off in the second half. Pickerington's Young Fulton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence Merrill in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Vine Grove booed when Pickerington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvester Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Pickerington's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Forbes came free, but Young Fulton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, David Elliot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moses Elias was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and A.J. Mohr capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. A.J. Mohr really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 72nd match minute, Pickerington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Cavazos to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Dave Forbes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Young Fulton was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Moses Elias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from A.J. Mohr in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Pickerington's William Agoos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moses Elias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Pickerington's A.J. Mohr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moses Elias. That made the score 0-4 after 89 minutes of play. 93 minutes into the match, A.J. Mohr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moses Elias. Vine Grove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that A.J. Mohr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The supporters of Vine Grove booed when Pickerington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jed Hays didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vine Grove's Walker Louis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pickerington.
