The tension between the Niagara Falls AFC and the Naranja AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Naranja AFC booed when Niagara Falls AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Lange didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niagara Falls AFC's Kristofer Salazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Niagara Falls AFC from getting a goal against them. Charles Tucker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Jean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Rick Blum recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kristofer Salazar. Rick Blum showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Kristofer Salazar made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Orville Traylor sent off a good shot on target. Niagara Falls AFC's Daniel Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Daniel Engström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niagara Falls AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Engström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Jean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute of the match, Orville Traylor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kristofer Salazar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Engström in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Jean saved Naranja AFC from getting behind. Kristofer Salazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Blum in the 35th minute of the match. Charles Tucker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Jean having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Samuel Pagan made the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Engström scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Jean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristofer Salazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Pagan in the 63rd minute of the match. Kristofer Salazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Pagan went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Engström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ruben Jean made a huge save. After 73 played minutes Naranja AFC got a freekick which was hit by Darron Draper. Kristofer Salazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otis Sylvester in the 76th minute of the match. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Naranja AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Niagara Falls AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
