It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Engström kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, Niagara Falls AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vincenzo Carrasco came free, but Kristofer Salazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vincenzo Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th match minute, Niagara Falls AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shelton Agostino to maneuver through the defense. Rudolph McMahon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Kristofer Salazar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Salvatore Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Engström in the 8th minute of play. Kristofer Salazar came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Fruitland's Rudolph McMahon. But to his dismay, Rudolph McMahon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 14th minute Robby Kemp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristofer Salazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristofer Salazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincenzo Carrasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to Niagara Falls AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Clayton Conner hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Niagara Falls AFC's goalkeeper Kristofer Salazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolph McMahon. In the 20th minute, Daniel Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fruitland's zone, Charles Tucker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvatore Daniel came out of the goal and Charles Tucker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Tucker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvatore Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Niagara Falls AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Engström. Rudolph McMahon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Fruitland's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Engström came free, but Salvatore Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rudolph McMahon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Niagara Falls AFC's goalkeeper Kristofer Salazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolph McMahon. 46 minutes into the match, Donald Leach dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kristofer Salazar, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincenzo Carrasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolph McMahon in the 56th minute of play forced Niagara Falls AFC's goalkeeper Kristofer Salazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Ron Lange was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niagara Falls AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fruitland the free kick. Ron Lange kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rudolph McMahon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darrell Aragon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Fruitland's goalkeeper Salvatore Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charles Tucker. When Daniel Engström came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Niagara Falls AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Engström couldn't finish the play. Charles Tucker scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvatore Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristofer Salazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby Kemp, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Rudolph McMahon scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristofer Salazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niagara Falls AFC's Daniel Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristofer Salazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincenzo Carrasco in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fruitland fully deserved thier win.
