Fairland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antony Harrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 43 minutes into the game, Jed Church was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Wilkesboro AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fairland the free kick. A collision led to North Wilkesboro AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jed Church hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes North Wilkesboro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jed Church. If Derrick Calhoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Rigoberto Decker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.P. Finch, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Fairland's Rey Meza got a free kick in the 60th minute. If J.P. Finch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. J.P. Finch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Antony Harrell put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rigoberto Decker. If Antony Harrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The North Wilkesboro AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fairland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
