Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilmar Faria kicked off to start the match. Alfredo Gomes was a little too slow when Gilmar Faria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute, Warner Pritchard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sam Nichols was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Warner Pritchard put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sam Nichols. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warner Pritchard in the 24th minute of play forced Langley AFC's goalkeeper Sam Nichols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Warner Pritchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sam Nichols was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Langley AFC's Reinaldo Burroughs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilmar Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melvin Walter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Langley AFC defense, Warner Pritchard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sam Nichols. The Langley AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sam Nichols should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Warner Pritchard in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Nichols saved Langley AFC from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Warner Pritchard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sam Nichols was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 42 played minutes Langley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chad Scott. Gilmar Farias short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Alfredo Gomes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th match minute, Langley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Burroughs to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Carolina Storm's Melvin Walter in the 55th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sam Nichols was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Langley AFC through an amazing save. Clayton McHughs short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Sam Nichols to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th minute, Kareem Waddell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Carolina Storm got a freekick which was hit by Bernát Markos. 73 minutes into the match, Carolina Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Faria came free, but Alfredo Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Warner Pritchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Nichols saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warner Pritchard did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Sam Nichols 77 minutes into the match. Warner Pritchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sam Nichols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Carolina Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Faria came free, but Alfredo Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Bernát Markos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carolina Storm and the Langley AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carolina Storm's Bernát Markos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Langley AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carolina Storm were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
