Ken Doud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Norton in the 3rd minute of the match. Daniel Cameron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desmond Givens having to interfere. Ken Doud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orville Hinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyndon's Desmond Givens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cameron in the 26th minute of play. Joel Sherrill kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Daniel Cameron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyndon's Desmond Givens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Desmond Givens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cameron in the 31st minute of play. Ken Doud was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pascal Ingram showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Neil Caudill shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ken Doud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Desmond Givens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Cameron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Nigel Cerna's late challenge caught a Tarrytown AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nigel Cerna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Nigel Cerna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
