Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Merrill Metzger got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Winona Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Metzger came free, but Louie Hubbard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Winona Lake's Terrence Jensen in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Orzel's goalie prevented a goal. Tony Carrasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrence Jensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Weston Arroyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KS Orzel's Sonny Tucker got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KS Orzel's Merrill Metzger got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stan Fleming recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sonny Tucker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louie Hubbard having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Winona Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Metzger came free, but Louie Hubbard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Winona Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Metzger came free, but Louie Hubbard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Winona Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kraig Stephenson to maneuver through the defense. If Cameron Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The supporters of KS Orzel booed when Winona Lake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kraig Stephenson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Louie Hubbard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merrill Metzger in the 42nd minute of the match. Sonny Tucker came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Louie Hubbard could save by the left post. In the 47th minute of the match Weston Arroyo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Carrasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terrence Jensen made a kick off. Terrence Jensen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Tony Carrasco 52 minutes into the match. If Cameron Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Winona Lake booed when KS Orzel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Wall didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Orzel's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Terrence Jensen 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Tucker in the 69th minute of play forced Winona Lake's goalkeeper Louie Hubbard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Sonny Tucker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sonny Tucker struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Louie Hubbard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Orzel. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Orzel's goalkeeper Tony Carrasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cameron Luke received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tony Carrasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Cameron Luke slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 88th minute. Louie Hubbard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merrill Metzger in the 93rd minute of play. The Winona Lake players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
