Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Terrence Jensen made the kick off which started today's match. Winona Lake's Louie Hubbard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Foreman in the 6th minute of play. Darryl Shaffer charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darryl Shaffer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Darryl Shaffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mount Sterling AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Walker Burrows hit a great ball. Terrence Jensen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernie Woodall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Cameron Luke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garry Gill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louie Hubbard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Winona Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kraig Stephenson to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Mount Sterling AFC's Louie Hubbard threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francis Foreman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Terrence Jensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernie Woodall having to interfere. Terrence Jensen struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ernie Woodall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winona Lake. Ernie Woodall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrence Jensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Francis Foreman made the kick off in the second half. Ernie Woodall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrence Jensen in the 53rd minute of play. Terrence Jensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernie Woodall having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Winona Lake's goalkeeper Louie Hubbard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Winona Lake's Darryl Shaffer got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Darryl Shaffer off the ground. After 64 played minutes Winona Lake got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Shaffer. In the 66th minute Francis Foreman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louie Hubbard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mount Sterling AFC booed when Winona Lake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kraig Stephenson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cameron Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mount Sterling AFC's zone, Cameron Luke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernie Woodall came out of the goal and Cameron Luke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louie Hubbard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garry Gill in the 82nd minute of play. Louie Hubbard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Foreman in the 90th minute of the match. When Kraig Stephenson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Kraig Stephenson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Louie Hubbard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Foreman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
