Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angelo Workman took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Azalea AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Holmes to maneuver through the defense. Gerry Roman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Fredericksburg AFC booed when Azalea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Holmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Fredericksburg AFC's Gerry Roman tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Azalea AFC's Bo McRae got a free kick in the 13th minute. Angelo Workman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. D.J. Jolly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Parker Landrum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Angelo Workman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fredericksburg AFC's Parker Landrum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Azalea AFC booed when Fredericksburg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Braun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes in the game, Angelo Workman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Parker Landrum having to interfere. Mark Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ty Grossman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Mark Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Grossman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azalea AFC's D.J. Jolly got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Nash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Nash to make the kick off. Ty Grossman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Rossi in the 52nd minute. Leon Nash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Azalea AFC booed when Fredericksburg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Parker Landrum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from D.J. Jolly went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Azalea AFC's Ty Grossman got control of the ball when Mark Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ty Grossman made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Mark Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Azalea AFC's Angelo Workman got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, D.J. Jolly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azalea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but D.J. Jolly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Workman in the 91st minute of play forced Fredericksburg AFC's goalkeeper Parker Landrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azalea AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tory Abel in the 93rd minute. The corner led Azalea AFC's Tory Abel to fire away a dangerous shot which Parker Landrum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Angelo Workman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Azalea AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
